We are currently seeking an HR Advisor who will report to the UK HR Manager based in Victoria, London. The HR Advisor is responsible for providing support and advice on all HR matters with a focus on employee relations. This is a full time role for a fixed term period of 12 months.

Your Opportunity

As part of the UK Kering Corporate team, this role supports the luxury brands within the Kering Division.  Working closely with the UK HR Manager, this role requires partnering with Kering Corporate and brands to provide support and advice on all first line ER matters.

How you will contribute

·  Establish strong working relationships with managers and meet with all retail managers on a regular basis to understand brand needs.
·  Provide first line advice and coaching to managers regarding all employee relations queries. 
·  Support with, and conduct where necessary, disciplinary hearings and related formal investigations up to and including dismissal. Ensure consistency across brands as well as compliance with Company policy and relevant legislation. 
·  Support with drafting written outcome letters in accordance with Kering’s disciplinary policy and procedure.
·  Support with formal and informal grievance issues. Must have the ability to use various methods and influencing skills to resolve the matter informally or identify when a grievance must be heard formally.  Has experience of conducting formal grievance investigations and is able to write clear and concise outcome letters.
·  Support managers to ensure sickness absence is monitored and managed at a local level. Provide advice on when persistent sickness absence should be formally managed as well as identifying potential long term sickness absence instances that could be protected under the Equality Act 2010.
·  Provide advice to managers on organisational restructuring, including advice regarding redundancies, the applicable process and costs. Where necessary, provide support and / or conduct consultation meetings and provide all written communication to affected employees.
·  Conduct exit interviews, uses tools and resources to analyse trends and identify and suggest HR support where issues are identified.
·  Draft new and maintain existing HR policies, ensuring they adhere with UK legislation.
·  Draft and/ or review all ER written templates to ensure consistency and compliance with Company policy, UK laws and brand culture.
·  Provide ad hoc advice regarding Immigration, National Minimum Wage legislation and Health & Safety and keep up to date with any legislative changes.
·  Accurately record all ER related activity across applicable brands and collate quarterly ER data. Identify themes, concerns and recommendations for improvement.
·  Highlight issues and identify methods of up-skilling employees, providing training on HR issues and related skills such as conducting disciplinaries, investigating grievances, conducting interviews and giving feedback.
·  Support with ad-hoc Corporate projects.
·  Support with organising employee events, including mental health and well-being initiatives.

Who you are

·  Strong ability to build trusted and credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels
·  Solid UK employment law knowledge
·  Excellent communications skills
·  Experience in Luxury Retail advantageous
·  Experience with Workday advantageous
·  Naturally curious nature and confidence to challenge current practices to instigate positive change
·  Ability to take ownership and accountability for work
·  Solution led attitude when faced with problem solving
·  Possess a relevant degree e.g. HR Management or CIPD qualification
