About the Role:
As the Team Leader for Room Service, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient supervision of the department. Working in a small team, you will support the Assistant Manager in managing the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and budgeted profit.
Some of the responsibilities include:
· Conducting pre-shift briefings
· Provide leadership to a diverse team
· Deliver and presenting In Room dining and amenities to guest rooms in a timely manner
· Provide personalized service to all guests
· Assist with creating and communicating the rosters and delegation of tasks and responsibilities
· Provide training and onboarding support for new associates within the department
· Liaising with all necessary departments to ensure the productivity of the outlet is successful in its daily operations
· Opening and closing the outlet as required
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Previous supervisory / managerial experience in a similar role or fast-paced environment would be advantageous
· A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
· People management and interpersonal skills along with strong communication skills
· The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
