Job description

Job Summary;

To achieve pre-determined revenue targets while maintaining appropriate sales programs and handling multi-faceted projects

· Work with DOSM and DOS/ and overall, Leisure/ wholesales strategy for the hotel.
· Assist in establishing with DOSM and DOS an Annual Marketing Plan with measurable objectives, strategies and action plan to achieve revenue and profit targets as outlined in the Annual Business Plan.
· Know and implement the Brand standards for Leisure market.
· Review, understand and apply all sales tools from Corporate Office.
· Set-up the necessary administration and liaison with Rooms, Reservations, F&B, Finance, WWSO/WWRO and other Hyatt Hotels worldwide with regards to Leisure business.
· Investigate main competitors for Leisure and Wholesales market and ascertain their strengths and weaknesses vs. Hyatt and share this with S&M and EXCOM.
· Develop Unique Selling Points for Leisure market with DOS and DOSM. Ensure they are communicated to EXCOM and S&M.
· Pre-qualifies and targets prospects, utilizing Envision database and developing appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies to increase the hotel’s leisure market share.
· Professionally conducts routine telemarketing activities to identify new business opportunities. Follows up sales leads to identify prospect.
· Reviews and constantly seeks Productivity level improvements through the process of “taking work out of the system” (when appropriate) and thorough streamlining of work process.
· Build a Leisure and Wholesales database and record for future cross-sell and marketing activities.
· Implements all sales action plans related to responsibility areas as outlined in the Marketing plan
· Plans and makes Sales trips to the parties concerned which is our current and potential clientele to explore into new business opportunities.

Qualifications

·  Minimum 2 years work experience as Sales or Senior Sales Manager
·  The ability to speak the Chinese language would be advantageous
·  Prefer experience working in the luxury segment
·  Effective communication skills to liaise with other departments
·  Strong in English communication skill, and computer literate
·  Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
·  Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm in difficult situations
·  Proactive work style
