Job description
What does the role of Pastry Sous Chef entail?
To create and prepare all pastry products according to the requirements of the business
Attend meetings with other chefs and front house staff
Ensure product quality and good communication within the team
Prepare, clean and organize ingredients for use in the kitchen and reduce waste
Come up with ideas for recipes
Ensure the kitchen is always clean and ready for the next day
Coordinate and lead a team of junior pastry chefs
Supervise a team of junior pastry chefs and other staff
Maintain up to date knowledge of pastry arts and ingredients
Comply with A HACCP regulations
What should you have, know and be able to do?
At least 2 years experience in a 5* hotel or professional restaurant
Ideas for confectionery products
Knowledge of Czech and other cuisines and confectionery
Knowledge of English
