Job description

We are looking for a Outlet Manager / Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q2 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital – and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.

About the role

· The Outlet Manager/ Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible to oversee the day to day operations within our Lounge, Restaurant and In-Room Dining. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth service, enhancing guest satisfaction, and managing the overall performance of the outlets, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Strong Restaurant background in luxury.
·  Multiple outlets management experience is preferred.
·  Experience in managing several meal periods from breakfast to dinner.
·  Experience in developing concepts with a strong focus on quality.
·  Strong beverage background.
·  Quality and Trainer Mindset.
·  Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·  In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and menu development.
·  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
·  Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and basic financial reporting.
·  Strong problem-solving skills with a guest-centric approach.
·  Portuguese language is essential.
