Salary: £33,990.00

Duties and responsibilities related to the Groups and Events Manager role  

· Liaise with clients to confirm event details and ensure all requirements are accurately captured.

· Manage group bedroom blocks, rooming lists, and billing arrangements from contract stage to departure.

· Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee seamless execution of events and group bookings.

· Host pre- and post-event meetings to review client expectations and outcomes.

· Conduct site visits and client show rounds as needed.

· Prepare invoices promptly and ensure timely processing of payments and deposits.

· Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

About You

You have proven experience in events and sales within a hospitality or similar environment, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end event planning process. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you thrive in managing multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining exceptional standards. Your communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring every event runs seamlessly. A proactive and customer-focused mindset drives you to anticipate needs and deliver tailored solutions. You are tech-savvy, ideally familiar with Opera, and bring a collaborative, team-player approach to achieving commercial success. Above all, you are motivated, adaptable, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for every guest.
