Chief Accountant

Park Hyatt Doha is looking for a meticulous and strategic Chief Accountant to join our Finance team in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha. This is a pivotal managerial role designed for an individual who excels in financial integrity, team leadership, and the art of "rare and unexpected" service—even behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily finance operations and month-end closing.
· Ensure compliance with IFRS and Hyatt's global internal controls.
· Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team.
· Manage tax compliance and external audit requirements in Qatar.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Minimum of 3–5 years in a senior accounting role within a 5-star hotel environment. Prior experience in the Middle East is highly preferred.
·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
·  Professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA) is a significant advantage.
· 
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

· 
Experience with hospitality software (SUN Systems, Opera, Simphony, or Birchstreet).

· 
Proven ability to manage a diverse team and communicate financial data to non-finance managers.

· 
Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong asset for local regulatory dealings.
