Restaurant ZEM in the centre of Prague on Senovážné náměstí is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager.

ZEM is a place where the flavour of classic Czech cuisine and Japanese Izakaya cuisine meet. Both cuisines are authentic and therefore every guest will take away a double taste experience. However, the experience is not only based on good food and drink, but also on the ambience and first-class service. What you'll be doing:

Directing people on set, making sure everyone knows what to do.

Checking the restaurant and being ready for service.

Checking food in and out of the service kitchen, making sure every meal goes to the right table.

Build relationships with customers. Stand in for the manager and resolve a complaint if necessary.

It would be nice to have:

- Calm.

Can you keep calm and communicate with the team even when it's the craziest, like when a helper throws a sick and every reservation comes in at the same time?

- Organizational and planning skills

Can you help plan what will be needed without expecting someone to lead you by the hand?

- Communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Can you imagine how on the worst shifts you can remain friendly, smiling and helpful to every guest that comes into ZEM? And at the same time, you can handle any communication with guests in English.

- Problem solving and the ability to work under pressure

Can you imagine being able to solve problems quickly and efficiently, like when the hood over the grill goes off and there's smoke everywhere?

- Previous experience in a similar role

Have you worked as a head waiter, shift leader etc? Great! We're probably looking for you!

- Interested in food service and eager to learn new things.
