We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer.

 

Business: Markets & Sec Services IT

 

Principal responsibilities

The day to day job of the role will include

·  Engineering, prototyping and evaluating different technical solutions and IT processes
·  Automating and streamlining IT Tooling delivery and operations processes
·  Provide technical support on tooling platforms which include JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Nexus, TeamCity, Jenkins, Kubernetes, etc. to global GBM IT teams
·  Provide Management Reports on various IT activities and tooling usages

 

Requirements

·  1-3 years in IT industry
·  Proficient knowledge on Java, Linux, Oracle/Postsgresql Database, Networking, Shell/Python scripting languages
·  Knowledge and experience on some of the following technology and products will be an advantage
·  Docker
·  Puppet, Ansible
·  AWS, GCP Cloud platforms
·  Python, Java, Clojure, NodeJS
·  JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, TeamCity, Jenkins, Nexus
·  Grafana, Influxdb, Splunk, ELK, Sensu, Prometheus
·  Good Production Support and Operations knowledge
·  Good English communication skills (The candidate has to be capable of communicating effectively with native English speakers through phone or VC)
