UK Retail Banking is core in the successful delivery of the HBUK and WPB global strategy. UK Retail Banking has end to end Journey ownership for the most significant customer journeys in the UK, including Buying a Home, Unsecured Lending and Everyday Banking.

WPB UK has 20 million cards in circulation and is a huge scale multifaceted business. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact to our customers to ensure our journeys work and resolve issues quickly.  Over our card estate we have dual schemes Mastercard and Visa which adds to intricacy of the management of our systems.

In this role you will:

·  Oversee the end-to-end automation of card processing operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely transaction processing
·  Work closely with supporting functions to ensure that parameters are set for Fraud and I.T. including chip parameters that are customer centric
·  Ensure parameters are set and work correctly and are customer centric
·  Oversee the design, implementation, and management of Stand-in-Processing (STIP) systems and processes for the card eco systems (Credit and Debit Cards)
·  Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting and analytics to monitor and evaluate performance

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·  Extensive experience in card operations, Parameter settings, STIP, or a related field within the financial services industry
·  Proven experience in a role with responsibility for STIP and card processing
·  In-depth knowledge of STIP systems, card processing platforms, and related technologies
·  Establishing effective collaborative relations with external organisations is critical
·  Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills 

This role is based in Birmingham, Leeds, Chester, Sheffield or London.
