We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Data Quality

Principal responsibilities

·  Manage the HSBC Data Utility’s(HDU) stakeholders and promote data quality services. 
·  Build strong working relationships with the data SMEs in GB/GFs .
·  Build strong working relationships with Group Data Services
·  Within the HDU closely work with Data Quality Issues Remediation, Data Governance, Data Architecture (Business) and the Policy & Compliance teams.
·  Ability to convert business needs into technical/functional requirements and analysis/ MI Reports.
·  Provide flawless execution by the team through effective project management and incorporating necessary quality checks that has been signed off by senior /manager.
·  Demonstrate acceptable standards of productivity.
·  Contribute towards the quantifiable process improvement goals of the team.

Requirements

·  6+ years plus of Data Quality, Data Mapping, Data Science and Data project management  experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred.
·  4 year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from reputed university in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline.
·  Adaptive to multi data environment with quick learning ability to learn infrastructures.
·  Understanding / Experience of Alteryx ,Python ,SAS ,SQL. Exposure / Experience to data visualization tools like QlikSense, Tableau.
·  Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint. Visio,VBA.
·  Exposure to document and content management utilities like Rational Team Concert, Confluence etc.
