We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Lead Consultant Specialist

In this role you will:

·  Re-designing large monolithic application into smaller components
·  Deployment through containers, and strategies for building and deploying highly available products
·  Advice on, and compliance with CICD, DevOps and Agile practices
·  Working in all stages of the development pipeline:  Working with the business to gather requirements, implement those requirements with automated testing, and present the results to the business for review.
·  Work closely with Business & IT Project Managers to ensure delivery of solutions consistent with Finance IT’s Strategic Architecture.
·  Provide input to design discussions and project planning meetings.
·  Build good working relationships with other IT departments and relevant business areas
·  Delivering valuable working software to the business with a constant focus on technical process improvement
·  Working in PODs to help deliver Stories / Tasks and involved in providing the technical Support in Production tickets / Incidents on rota basis.
·  Lead the implementation of the journeys with actual customer / users of the system and leverage the connection/ relation already built for the large Staff Application support. With deeper knowledge on the systems, educating the end user and pushing the collocated call center and back-office implementation, reducing bottleneck and provide confidence to the end users,
·  Technical drive the code Pilot / geAI POC with different teams / Vendors work with them to validate the outcome of POC and work to productionize the process.

 

 

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

·  Expert in Java development with Clear understanding of Microservices,
·  Exposure on staff applications and domain knowledge on staff flows, for being able to break it down to smaller microservices.
·  Strong hands-on knowledge on API and UI development using Spring boot, and React JS
·  A clear understanding of GIT, and different approaches to a CICD pipeline, using Jenkins, Cradle/Maven/ Ansible etc.
·  Hands on Experience on AWS hosting, EHC and other regulatory process, strong on scripting using Python, groovy.
·  Exposure to Automation testing using selenium, JMOCKIT
·  Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills.
·  Good communication stills, and experience of interacting directly with business teams.
·  Good understanding of developing resilience strategy and configurable software like Blue green/Canary / event driven architecture.
·  Has worked in a Staff assisted Banking environment, especially multi-tenant Staff applications with large integrated subsystems.
·  Expert in using the genAI tools like co-pilot, in mainstream development use cases.
·    Technical Service Design, including end to end testing to automation for performance testing tools.
·  Project Delivery Experience, especially Agile
·  Experience with working with multi-location teams and building up offshore capability.
