Role purpose

The Risk & Compliance (RNC) Transformation Project Manager is a role required to support the LAM/MX RNC Head of Transformation in creating and leading a World Class Business Engineering organization which is recognized as market leading both internally and externally.   

The role holder is expected to play the role of a ‘trusted advisor’ and is accountable for making plans and leading projects that are based  on the Risk and Compliance change delivery initiatives of the region, execution of Global initiatives and those related to the Risk and Compliance order book. The position can also act as Project management office in order to track progress against plans, budget, milestones and report them to the senior management and stakeholders.

Main activities

·  Develop long and short term plans for the Country and LAM in accordance with the Risk and Compliance Transformation strategy.
·  Support the Risk and Compliance Transformation leadership in managing and leading change in the region through deployment of priority programmes.
·  Support coordination of country and regional transformation programmes.
·  Build change competency within the function.
·  Ensure close working with delivery partners on planning, design and estimating, bringing together delivery and business partner teams; actively managing dependencies between these teams and other projects and programmes.
·  Ensure global programmes have sufficient support / resource from a regional perspective.

Requirements

·  Very strong knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitors etc.
·  Outstanding knowledge of Transformation projects preferably financial crime compliance – functionally, operationally and financially.
·  Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior managers across the Group.
·  Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments.
·  Strong analytical background and proven ability in analytical rigour, including being able to contextualise data into business activities and conclusions.
·  Proven ability in successfully designing and implementing large-scale, complex global / regional change initiatives.
·  Evidence of successfully managing financial plans.
·  Successful experience in developing and retaining critical talent and building an effective leadership team.
·  Competence at the highest level in having a Global Mind-set, Customer Empathy, Decision Making ability, the desire to achieve excellence, collaboration, Commerciality, Impactful Communication, Leading self and others, tracking, reporting and governance, stakeholder management, and consultancy.
·  Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills.
·  Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
·  High level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex transformational initiatives.
·  Ability to leverage resources available to achieve goals.
·  Outstanding organizational, time management and planning skills in order to cope with multiple large-scale responsibilities
