Job Description:

   

The Demand Intelligence & Analytics Expert is responsible for driving the improvement of the demand waterfall of conversions “from clicks, to leads, to contribution to sales” Context.

As HPE marketing continues its focus on generating demand to support and grow the business, the need to leverage digital marketing effectively to generate demand is increasing. This creates the opportunity to have a data-driven decision making process to drive the demand generation activities and effectiveness. Understanding and improving how marketing conversions result in leads and marketing generated sales opportunities becomes paramount.

The Demand Intelligence & Analytics Expert is responsible for generating actionable insights from and for marketing and sales to describe and improve the way HPE marketing converts marketing engagement to demand. Demand is described as business key performance indicators, such as visitors, responses, leads and opportunities). Marketing engagement is described in terms of marketing activities that generate responses from customers across digital marketing, event marketing, email marketing, telemarketing.

The Demand Intelligence & Analytics Expert works with Demand Generation (DG) planners and managers, campaign managers, sales operations and sales management to develop and share the insights, articulate and prioritize recommendations, design solutions, and implement action plans to evolve marketing approaches, programs, process and or technologies to improve the design and effectiveness of demand generation.

The Demand Intelligence & Analytics Expert will:

·  Maintain forecasting, planning or management models (such as the demand waterfall model)
·  Coordinate the development and maintenance of advanced statistical models (such as predictive lead scoring models),
·  Drive action plans or project plans for improvements with marketing teams, campaign teams, field marketing teams, lead development teams and sales teams.
·  The Demand Intelligence & Analytics Expert will be successful by demonstrating tangible, measurable improvement in the conversion data (for example applied to targeting, segmentation, lead scoring) from a demand generation perspective (for example, improved conversion from qualified leads to opportunities).
·  The position is a global role.

Required Education, Knowledge and Experience

·  BA / BS degree from a leading academic institution; MBA a strong plus
·  B2B demand generation: 3-5 years of experience in a product marketing, digital marketing. marketing operations or sales operations role
·  Expertise: track record and knowledge of analytics drive account based marketing and B2B demand waterfall models, marketing automation and sales automation from a marketing, demand or revenue operations perspective. Experience in marketing strategy or management consulting a plus
