This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Join the IT-AI team to help drive productivity by leveraging the power of foundation and custom LLM models. This role will drive the implementation of GenAI use cases across the company by ensuring we leverage the best-in-class models, frameworks, and techniques. You will work directly with teams across HPE around model performance evaluations, developing demos and proof-of-concepts of GenAI end applications / use cases with large models.
Technical depth as well as business experience is necessary to articulate the potential and challenges of GenAI models and applications to both engineering teams and business users.

About the Job:
· Use-Case Implementation: Prototype and build solutions to drive employee & team productivity. Deploy GenAI workloads on Azure stack and integrate with systems.
· Prompt Engineering: Craft effective prompts and instructions to guide models towards desired outputs, ensuring coherence, factual accuracy, and alignment with ethical considerations.
· Model Optimization: Leverage techniques like RAG, Fine tuning to optimize models.
· Output Evaluation and Refinement: Assess the quality and safety of generated content, identify, and mitigate biases, and refine outputs for specific applications.
· Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineers and business pods to define project goals, interpret results, and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
· Staying Ahead of the Curve: Proactively monitor the latest advancements in Generative AI research, identify and evaluate new techniques, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's capabilities.
· Mentor: Coach broader HPE team members on the latest GenAI landscape and techniques.
About You:
· Deep familiarity across the stack – compute infrastructure, ML frameworks, orchestration layers, large models, frameworks like LangChain for developing applications powered by GenAI models, MLOPs, as well as target use cases in the cloud.
· Experience with GenAI models across training, inference, MLOPs, and/or developing GenAI applications.
· Experience with data engineering techniques and different platforms including vector DB & knowledge graphs.
· Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: C/C++, C#, Python.
· Experience training large models across compute types and developing applications powered by GenAI models.
· Experience with prompt engineering and the ability to craft effective prompts for various applications.
· Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI development and deployment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
· Ability to work alone and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
· Experience in training and optimizing Generative AI models (GANs, VAEs, diffusion models, etc.) is a plus.
· Hands-on understanding of deep learning, loss functions, and optimization techniques and other ML algorithms and infrastructure is a plus.

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $113,000.00 - $259,500.00
