Job description
We are looking for a qualified Marketing Coordinator to join the Sales & Marketing team at Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in graphic design, and/or audiovisual production, we would like to meet you.
What will I be doing?
As Marketing Coordinator, you will work with the Marketing Manager to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan to increase hotel brand awareness. Specifically, a Marketing Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
· Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
· Establish creative direction for the company
· Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
· Perform retouching and manipulation of images
· Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
· Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure brand consistency, ensuring content is on-brand, on style, quality, and tone.
· Liaise with various hotel departments and other key internal and external stakeholders to determine collateral and campaign needs
· Provide administrative support to the marketing team
· Assists the Director of Marketing with identification and tactical elements of the hotel’s programming, activations, and partnerships
· Assists with the coordination of media visits, including itinerary confirmations, property tours, distribution of media kits, etc.
· Provides as-needed tactical and project-based marketing support in order to effectively and efficiently execute the hotel’s strategic marketing plans
· Works with sales & marketing team to prioritize key activities of wider strategic projects and tasks. Assists with processing invoices for marketing initiatives.
· Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
· Previous Hotel or leisure sector experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
· Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
· 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
· Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
· Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
· Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
· Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent eye for detail
Preferred:
· Proficient in graphic design
