As a Kitchen Manager , you’re not just leading daily culinary production for the property – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
· Oversee kitchen operations: Manage food preparation, presentation, and production while ensuring quality, safety, sanitation, and cost control to maximize efficiency and profitability
· Manage administrative functions: Oversee kitchen systems, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and team member operations
· Ensure ingredient quality: Select, inspect, and utilize high-quality food and beverage products, including meats, seafood, produce, and seasonings
· Enhance menu offerings: Create and implement new dishes and seasonal menus to elevate the dining experience
· Lead a high-performing team: Supervise and support team members, recruit new talent, monitor development and performance, provide coaching and foster a positive and productive work environment
· Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
