As an Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager , you’re not just helping manage daily operations for one of our hotel dining outlets – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

We are now recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager at Hilton Birmingham Metropole's destination bar and restaurant, Brightsmith on the Water. For this fun, sophisticated bar and restaurant we are looking for an Assistant Manager who has good natural rapport with customers as well as easy-going charisma and warmth. If you are an experienced Assistant Manager within the restaurant and bar sector looking for your next step up, we want to hear from you!

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

·  Support seamless operations: Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations, including guest service, quality control, inventory, reservations, marketing, and reporting
·  Enhance guest satisfaction and service excellence: Assist with the development and implementation of guest satisfaction strategies, monitoring trends, gathering feedback, and driving continuous improvements to elevate the guest experience
·  Deliver consistent quality: Ensure food presentation meets high standards and monitor cost and portion controls to maximize value
·  Support team performance and development: Assist in supervising and developing team members by providing training, scheduling, feedback and recognition to foster a positive and productive work environment
·  Recruit and train talent: Assist with hiring, onboarding, and coaching team members
·  Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
