What impact you’ll make?

Senior Global Funding & Grants Manager position is responsible to identify, evaluate and secure investment incentives to support the sustainability of global supply chain development strategy. The role has a strong understanding of the financial viability of investment proposals, identifies prospective sources of external funding for potential project implementation, secure funds from external resources and liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful fundraising. Overall, this role ensures that the company can continue to grow and expand while minimizing risk and maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The job is to secure funding opportunities that will support the adoption and acceleration of feasibility assessments. What you’ll do

Securing and Identifying of Funding/ Co-funding: the role analyzes target geographies, customers, projects and identify most appropriate funding and grants opportunities at Global level with priority focus on sustainability;
Actively support the scouting activities for new prospects of such grants and funding opportunities;
Building partnerships: Externally with public and private entities to drive creation of funding and grants opportunity/ Internally working cross functionally with Global Supply Chain Development teams to identify the need for such funding
Proposal preparation management: Own, lead, draft, and file grant/funding applications
Training and coaching: using expertise, the role helps colleagues across global sites develop their knowledge regarding External Funding
Representation: the role represents GE Gas Power’s Global Supply Chain Development strategic interests at various (networking) events
Communication: the role operates as a key- contact internally/externally and towards the public authorities and contributes to the shaping of new communication tools and their content

What you’ll bring

Bachelors Degree in finance, science, business or mathematics
Significant experience in external funding and grants - experience with public affairs is a real plus
Excellent English language skills, Hungarian language knowledge is an advantage
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10-15% globally.
