This role combines hands-on product inspection with quality engineering responsibilities, including developing work instructions, managing equipment calibrations, handling non-conformities, and driving continuous improvement

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Electrical Panel Inspection:

· 
Perform detailed inspections of in-process and finished electrical panels against technical specifications and drawings.

·  Identify, document, and report non-conformities, ensuring project traceability.
·  Knowlagent functional and safety tests on electrical panels (is a plus).

Quality Engineering & Process Improvement:

· 
Create, review, and optimize work instructions and procedures for manufacturing processes, especially for electrical panels.

·  Manage the calibration program for measurement and test equipment.
·  Investigate root causes of non-conformities (internal and supplier-related), implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
·  Analyze and map manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
·  Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for Manufacturing Quality.

Quality Management Systems & Training:

·  Support and monitoring of quality management systems.
·  Provide and follow quality and process training to the teams.
·  Foster a strong quality culture within the organization.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration:

·  Participate in continuous improvement projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, PDCA).
·  Collaborate cross-functionally (ITO and OTR) to ensure product quality.

Required Qualification:

·  Technical degree in electrical, Production, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field. Bachelor’s is a plus.
·  Minimum 3 years of experience in quality, with proven experience in both product inspection (preferably electrical. panels) and quality engineering/process management.
·  Solid knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001) and quality tools (PDCA, MASP, FMEA).
·  Experience with equipment calibration management.
·  Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specifications (electrical panels).
·  Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) is a plus.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
·  Intermediate English and Portuguese is a plus.
