Numerical analysis of a wind turbine nacelle noise radiation characteristics

Essential Responsibilities

  • Literature research on Statistical Energy Analysis methods and applications
  • Development of a nacelle SEA model in wave6
  • Validation of the model with existing field and TL data
  • Sensitivity study and analysis of the noise characteristics and mitigation potentials
  • Documentation and presentation of results

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in acoustics
  • Python and MATLAB experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
