Job Description Summary

The Sourcing Finance Analyst is an integral part of the Wind Global Supply Chain Finance team helping to track and measure sourcing and product performance of the wind turbine and its components. The candidate will be responsible for implementing financial processes and rigor for sourcing purchasing performance metrics across Wind particularly the impact it has on commercial underwriting. In addition, they will partner with sourcing operations to understand key drivers and progress toward KPIs.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

·  Supporting the execution and publishing of the quarterly commercial cost catalog used to underwrite new deals. This includes understand changes to product cost driven from either, supplier cost changes, Bill of Material Changes, Engineering change orders, FX etc.
·  Partner with sourcing operations and manufacturing finance teams to evaluate variances and drivers of wind turbine component level cost performance relative to expectations
·  Collaborate with product line, sourcing, and engineering to help meet product line cost targets and track all opportunities and risk
·  Utilize lean problem solving to identify root causes of product cost discrepancies or system abnormalities and support the teams in cost-planning optimization efforts
·  Develop standard work to track sourcing and manufacturing monthly pacing performance

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance and Accounting
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting areas

Desired Characteristics

·  Knowledge of ERP systems and how to operate them. Oracle / SAP preferred.
·  Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
·  Ability to manage large data sets and analyze trends and outcomes
·  Excellent communication skills for engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.
·  Experience with Microsoft access and SQL
·  Experience in working with operational or sourcing teams
·  A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.

The salary range for this position is 83,600.00 - 139,200.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include Health, Medical, 401K, Paid Leave.
