Experience (Essential and Desired Functions)

·  Be a full-time GE hourly employee.
·  At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing processes at GE Charleroi.
·  KPO Program participation.
·  Experience with hand tools.
·  Ability to take direction and work on your own to complete projects within given timelines.
·  Experience working cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.
·  Creating change/improvements (desirable)
·  Basic computer skills and MS office experience (desirable)

Working Conditions (Industrial/Environmental)

The position is in first shift which might require occasional overtime.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel in order to type, design and perform other essential duties; the employee is regularly required to walk and work in the production area during lean activities and continuous improvement projects.  The ability to design and build racks, carts, and workstations as required in the moonshine shop. The abilities to talk and hear are necessary to use the phone and communicate about projects with relevant parties.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds in handling fixtures, tools etc.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision so that the employee may read and use a computer.
