Role Summary/Purpose
FMP is a highly competitive development program for candidates seeking a finance career with GE. This 2 year program consists of 6-month rotational assignments combined with formal classroom training in finance, accounting, business and leadership development. Graduates of FMP form the talent pool from which future GE finance and business leaders will emerge.
Essential Responsibilities
The Financial Management Program (FMP) equips early professionals with exceptional experiences, as it both begins and continues the acceleration of corporate finance careers. Hiring & rotations generally occur within the same business but may involve a change in geographic location. FMPs will have a wide range of assignment selections in corporate finance, including Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Financial Planning and Analysis. Each assignment is designed to both expose you to GE strategic initiatives as well as the role that Finance plays in achieving the business' objectives. As an FMP, you will have the opportunity to work with and showcase your work to senior Executives, who will act as coaches throughout your rotation and career. After completion of the FMP program, FMPs will have the opportunity to apply into GE's Corporate Audit Staff Program upon graduation or in a highly valued finance role.

Qualifications/Requirements
Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
GPA in Major greater than 3.0/4.0
Must be willing to relocate while on program

Strong analytical ability; proven leadership experience; team player; change-oriented; demonstrated integrity; strong communication skills.
Preferred: Understanding of business concepts/strategy; intern co-op experience in corporate finance; business/accounting or analytical coursework; multiple language skills; geographic mobility; global work/living experience.
