Job description

Position 

This position is for a Staff/Assistant in the GDS ITTS team and will be based out of Trivandrum or Kochi, Kerala. The candidate will be primarily involved in supporting the Operating model effectiveness (OME) speciality practice of the ITTS serviceline ; including Work on multiple initiatives of Business development (BD) and project delivery for the OME practice.

Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)

· 
CA Inter from Institute of Chartered accountants of India/ ACCA (Qualified/ semi-qualified)

· 
Should have 2 – 3 years of work experience in finance and accounts and taxation. Should be well versed with tax laws and concepts (Knowledge of International taxation will be an added advantage) also preparation of financial and management reports

· 
Should be able to do financial analysis, ratio analysis and smaller degree of tax modelling in MS excel

· 
Should be able to research on target accounts/MNC and develop visually appealing and easy to understand company analysis, Industry analysis and Peer analysis reports for the onshore team.

· 
Should possess project management skills and will be responsible for managing major Tax projects from its initiation to closure

· 
Responsible for timely delivery of the projects meeting the quality requirements set by the team

· 
Should be proficient in using MS Office (primarily MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS SharePoint

· 
Should have excellent communication and writing skills and be able to manage the key Tax stakeholders

· 
Ability to work as a team member and as an individual contributor

· 
Should be proactive; self-motivated; and have a desire to upgrade his skills through continuous learning

· 
Should be flexible to cater to the project requirements and timeline

· 
Should be a lateral thinker and have good reasoning skills
