EY The Factory is a fast-growing startup team within EY. We support the growth of startups & scale-ups, empower established companies in their innovation process, engage intrapreneurs within EY and connect them with each other to stimulate open innovation. The Factory resides in the EY wavespace™, based in Antwerp, which is carefully designed to facilitate an open innovation mindset.

Our team is currently looking for a STARTUP FUNDING EXPERT . As a Startup Funding Expert, you will be part of a dynamic startup team (+/- 5 FTE’s), responsible to scale one of our latest businesses: providing funding services for startups and scale-ups. You will be responsible for bringing in new leads, managing client accounts and delivering on the client engagements. Together with the team, you will define the right funding strategy for our startups, connect them with potential (international) investors or with (international) EY colleagues who have relevant expertise (legal, finance, taxes, HR, etc.). You will guide them through every step of their funding journey. You will report to the Startup Team Lead.

This is you:

·  You have a Masters degree in Business Engineering, Economics or Finance
·  You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in venture capital, funds or finance
·  You are passionate about startups and you have a solid network in the ecosystem
·  Helping startups achieving their growth ambitions is why you wake up in the morning
·  You love interacting with potential and existing clients
·  You are a critical thinker with a problem-solving mindset
·  You are analytical, organized and entrepreneurial
·  You thrive in a complex environment
·  You’re an excellent stakeholder manager
·  You can't live without your team, but you're not afraid to work independently
·  You're proactive in suggesting ideas and like to start and finish a project successfully
·  You have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
·  Knowledge of French is a plus
