EY’s Global Pursuits Group - EMEIA is searching for an experienced bid manager with excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset to partner with Account Teams in the pursuit of global, strategic, high-value opportunities.

The opportunity
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist group of pursuit professionals, supporting strategic, high-value pursuits across the EMEIA Area.

Your key responsibilities

The Pursuit Strategist partners with Pursuit Leaders, Creative Designers and Account Teams to support global, strategic, high-value pursuits. They are responsible for creating draft value propositions and developing a tailored communications strategy to articulate the compelling ‘Why EY’ proposition in all pursuit collateral. They engage early and at multiple stages during the pursuit process, including as a facilitator/key contributor in pursuit strategy sessions. The Pursuit Strategist is responsible for the tactical management of all pursuit work-streams including the touchpoint campaign, proposal development and orals preparation. 

Additionally, the Pursuit Strategist is required to identify, develop and implement innovative approaches to pursuit management and drive adoption of these across the global firm.

Moderate to frequent travel is required.

 

Skills and attributes for success
 
You will use your bid management experience, excellent communication skills and strategic mindset to drive the pursuit forward, while influencing and challenging the Account Team to optimize EY’s chances of winning.

              To qualify for the role you must have
·  Proven complex bid management experience
·  Excellent mother-tongue standard English
·  Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
·  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
·  Ability to lead and coach others
·  Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

 Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Experience in developing external marketing communications
·  Experience working in a cross-border, multi-cultural environment
·  Experience working for a professional services organization
