About the opportunity
Manages the Firm’s overseas regulatory registrations (new and renewal)
· Coordinates with area and global contacts for review of registration prior to finalisation
· Coordinates with regulator contacts for new requirements (researches requirements where needed), lodges registration and organises payment
Monitors local regulators auditor registration - ASIC, NZ Companies Office, ROC, other regulators
· Monitors registration of audit partners with the respective regulators, including new members (ie promotes/direct-admit partners)
Administers the Confirmations Database – Foreign Regulator Declaration process
· Collects foreign regulatory confirmations from executives
· Updates the confirmations database and follow up executives where required
Oversees the monthly Oceania accounting and auditing newsletter
· Coordinates with authors and manages the review process and release
· Drafts simple articles based on global newsletter or discussion with PPG team members
· Keeps track of potential articles throughout the month
Assists with PPD Events - examples below
· Quarterly AAPC meetings and Semi – annual PPD Quality webcast
· Drafts agenda for review – based on PPG meetings and discussions
· Keeps track of potential topics throughout the quarter
· Organises logistics for the AAPC meetings and coordinates with L&D on logistics for the PPD Quality webcast
· Manages review plan of the PPD and PPG team
· Assists with preparation of materials for the meetings
· Semi – annual Executive Events and Annual Audit Partner Quality Summit
· Keeps track of potential topics throughout the quarter
· Manages review plan of the PPD and PPG team
· Assists with preparation of materials
Monitors compliance with assurance policies
· GAPM 2.3 Education requirements – assists in following up individuals who are non-compliant based on reports from L&D team
· GAPM 2.15 Recusal policy – obtains annual confirmation from relevant executives covered by the policy
· Archiving policy – monitors compliance and investigates non-compliance
Monitors Milestone Reporting
· Analyses data and investigates anomalies with engagement teams
· Coordinate monthly reports to Leadership and APAC
Monitors the Long association policy compliance and maintains evidence of actions taken
Monitors compliance with the high risk and close monitored engagement policy and maintains evidence of actions taken
Manages Exhibit C – Engagements with PCAOB/US reporting
· Coordinates with engagement partners and managers to update Exhibit C information
Assists with updating the EY Australia Transparency report
· Coordinates with finance and independence team for required information and validates data where relevant
· Coordinates with engagement teams where required for revenue on EU clients and PIE list validation
· Coordinates the SCORE review process, sends final report to ASIC and publishes final report on the EYA website
Manages the PPG Action Item List
· Keeps track of progress and follow up individuals where necessary
Annual ASIC user pay reporting
· Supports PPD with communications and updating FAQ
· Understands ASIC portal requirements and manages requirements
· Works with finance & Ops on reports to utilise to validate partner submissions
· Manages on-bill process
Annual Partner Workforce tool reporting
· Supports PPD with communications and updating FAQ
· Works with finance & Ops on reports to utilise
· Drives completion with support of Ops and Geo leaders
· Support with reporting and analysis
Annual Mandatory Independence reporting
