Job description
EY Financial Service (FS) Ireland is looking to hire a Marketing & Communications Specialist whom ideally has experience in working with a Professional Services and/or Financial Services firm (Mat Leave Cover).
The opportunity
To develop your marketing career with an award winning Big 4 Marketing team using the experience you have gained in managing events, developing internal communications and supporting digital campaigns/activity.
Your key responsibilities
· Advise and support on appropriate communication strategy and approach for required communications to ensure a professional and impactful result is achieved in line with our communications strategy and policies
· Ensure that all communication activity is clearly aligned to strategic aims
· Set and maintain quality standards with the business
· Lead key relationships that ensures business is open to hearing and following advice
· Provide stakeholders with support and advice outside the core Internal Communications range of activities so that all activity is delivered to professional standards
· Design, implement and manage a range of communication and engagement activity across the business, in order to build engagement, understanding and employee advocacy.
· Develop engaging and relevant content on EY FS Ireland initiatives and programs across a range of internal & external channels, including webcasts, newsletters, emails, intranet sites and leadership presentations
· Deliver engaging, relevant and timely content for our people, including material for large group meetings and events, digital channels and social media, and to support execution of firm wide programs
· Work closely with the FS Managing Partner & Head of HR to develop and deliver employee communications plans for HR/Talent initiatives. Managing the execution and delivery of these communications plans.
· Collaborate closely with other team members and colleagues across EMEIA FS to align and integrate strategic messages that reflect EY’s most critical priorities; communicate these messages though our most relevant channels. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on brand, marketing, communications and change management issues, trends and long-term implications for EY
· Work closely with HR and the Sports & Social Committee in terms of driving Employee Engagement around festive occasions/activities.

· Demonstrate first-class communications skills, including excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as consulting, listening and interpretation skills
· Demonstrate meticulous editing skills with very strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest-quality output
· Strong organizational and project management skills
· Demonstrate broad communications management experience, ideally gained within professional services or in a similar world-class global organisation, with strong working knowledge of the professional services sector
· Ability to develop excellent working relationships with senior-level stakeholders and to influence those stakeholders as a trusted advisor
· Strong teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a complex, global organization
To qualify for the role you must have
· Business/Marketing Degree
· 3 + years of Marketing Communications experience,
· Exceptional writing and editing skills. Demonstrated ability to produce clear, compelling, motivating copy; experience interviewing and writing news/newsletter/internet content.
· Events experience
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Knowledge and experience of using social media as an effective tool.
· Proficient in MS Office, photo editing software.
· Strong interest in and knowledge of video and digital tools for storytelling, content sharing
