The Opportunity
The UK Brand Manager will support the delivery and ongoing management of our UK brand strategy. They will also be responsible for building and protecting brand equity, supporting successful translation and application of the brand across the UK.
Your Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Planning
·
Provide the Director of Brand and Digital Strategy with support on the analysis of the brand measurements, recommended actions and implementation (EY Brand Survey, YouGov, etc).
·
Support the Director of Brand and Digital Strategy with the development and execution of the UK&I brand plan, working closely with the communications team.
·
Contribute to marketing and communications plans for key programmes, to help ensure tactics reflect the long-term brand strategy and vision
·
Make sure all marketing and comms activity adds value, reflects EY’s brand positioning and provides a consistent experience for clients and employees
·
Support implementation of global strategic initiatives, including advertising campaigns
Brand Management
·
Lead on the communication and implementation of the EY’s visual and verbal identity across key areas within EY so that they are successfully adopted across the business
·
Provide the advice, support and governance for EY colleagues and external agencies to ensure they adhere to both visual and verbal identity guidelines
·
Work with BMC people to activate and implement the brand using the brand assets, imagery and guidelines
·
Promote and facilitate brand adoption and consistency across the firm, through creation of brand training workshops and communications to keep BMC people updated on the brand guidelines
·
Act as the first point of contact for escalated brand compliance issues
·
Help ensure that any brand adjustments from Global into the UK are made, liaising across the firm as needed, such as with facilities and recruitment
Skills and attributes for success
· Understanding of brand measurements and tools
· Understanding of design and visual identity systems
·
Comfortable multi-tasking and working to sometimes conflicting timescales and multiple priorities in a robust and fast-paced environment
·
A self-starter, who can work on their own initiative as well as being part of a team
To qualify for the role you must have
·
Experience of brand management in B2B marketing for professional services organisation or similar is desirable
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Comprehensive knowledge of the technical and theoretical aspects of branding
