Job Purpose:
The Local/Sub-Regional Procurement Officer is responsible for implementing the best local/sub-regional category-specific strategies. They work closely with local procurement teams to identify and recommend 'best in class' suppliers and maintain good relationships. They also prepare and lead supplier negotiations at the local level.

Key Tasks:

1. Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives and supply market research/intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets.
2. Establish local or sub-regional frame contracts, identify strategic sourcing opportunities, and develop and manage strategic suppliers.
3. Integrate Procurement services at sub-regional/country level for the business colleagues (divisions) in scope, achieving the greatest value contribution, benefit realization, and efficiency from all procurement activities.
4. Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price, and service.
5. Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods, services, and transportation capacities to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business/function in scope.

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification, preference in Engineering
• Excellent English
• Italian mother tongue
• More than 2 years of relevant experience
