IT Analyst role Purpose

To have a detailedunderstanding of the Logistics Business from a technical and operationalperspective for Internal and External customers.

To act as an IT consultant atkey stages of a project and providing possible solutions. Analysis &capture of business requirements, specifications of enhancements or developmentwork.

To Lead and support ITprojects that do not require entry into the DHL PMO database.

To test applicationfunctionalities. Training users to a level of competence in the system.

To be responsible to dealwith IT Service Providers and main Interface for Customer IT manager.


The key responsibilities for you as IT Analyst include

To ensure that the assigneduser community is functional and can operate the business with minimumdisruption providing out of hours cover as required.     

Undertaking general systems housekeeping.                                 

Application functionalsupport and L1 for all systems related issues & queries as the interfacebetween the Business Operations management, Customers IT management and IT Teamto Improve system performance/functionality & efficiencies.                

Scheduling and running ofApplication Management routines                                           

Ensure that DHL &Customer company policies are applied where applicable.     

Training and Documentation -define requirement for and then facilitate creation and maintenance of requiredIT documentation. Delivery of appropriate IT training to operational superusers                                                             

Work with third party serviceproviders & partners, (both internal & external)         

                       

Requirements for the job

Mandatory requirements:

  • Minimum3 years of experience in a similar IT role: implementation, maintenance and/orroll-out projects
  • Excellentanalytical skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technicalissues efficiently.
  • Solidknowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
  • Goodcommand on the use of office packages, especially Ms Excel and Ms Powerpoint
  • Effectivecommunication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and conveytechnical information to non-technical stakeholders. (written and verbal)
  • Strongorganizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Detail-orientedmindset to ensure accuracy in documentation and system configurations
  • TeamPlayer, flexible and curious.
  • Abachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications and InformationTechnology or a related field (such as Industrial Engineering)         
  • Englishlanguage fluent
  • Spanishlanguage fluent
  • Availablefor European Travel (France) on a monthly basis.

  • Databasesand Client access to them (Oracle, SQL, Web technologies)
