Job Responsibilities

Joining our Purchasing team, at the European level, you will interact daily with Purchasing Product Development, Material Planning, Supplier Quality, Finance, and External Suppliers of components and services.
With the purpose of guaranteeing the implementation of the strategic purchasing plan defined for the components assigned, you will act to perform the best targets, in terms of time, quality and price for the purchasing and procurement of the components necessary to the product development and production plan.

We are looking for a Buyer with experience in supplier management and negotiations, strong financial acumen, and business-oriented, but also able to apply technical sensibilities, good comprehension, and evaluation of the trade-off and impact of different purchasing strategies/choices on product development/quality and production.

Main Responsibilities
• Keeping on relations and agreements with external suppliers;
• Implementation of the strategic purchasing plan defined in collaboration with the Commodity Manager;
• Sourcing activities, ensuring the economic and quantitative evaluation of the offers.
• Managing offers’ requests in compliance with supplying deadlines;
• Managing purchase lists;
• Guaranteeing quantity and quality of the components purchased, as well as delivery times;
• New supplier proposals and introductions;
• Monitoring existing ones to optimize the purchasing process.

Job Profile

Qualifications
• Highly dynamic and enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to achieve targets in a highly complex context;
• Problem solver and innovator attitude;
• Analytical thinking and organizational skills;
• Skilled in advanced data analysis
• Bachelor’s degree – Economics, Engineering or Business Languages:
• Business English is a must;
• Excel – advanced level;
• Experience: 1-3 years in a similar position;
• The position requires to travel abroad for a maximum of 20%.
