Job description
As a Quality and Food Safety manager you will play an important role in maintaining world-class Quality and Food Safety in agreement with company standards and applicable regulations as well as external requirements.
You will be a key player supporting the Quality and Food Safety agenda and driving the culture of quality. Your mission includes monitoring the execution on the market with relevant KPI’s, guarantee robust design to delivery process, drive actions and project, improve the experience of the existing portfolio and guarantee food safety compliance.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
· Responsible for implementation, application and maintenance of the company’s quality and food safety system.
· Guarantee quality and food safety compliance and performance according to internal and external requirements.
· Represent quality and food safety in product development and implementation in local market, conducting risk assessments and validations.
· Implement food safety standards at external partners according to risk analysis.
· Manage quality non-conformities with factories, supply chain and other relevant stakeholders, coordinating resolution using root cause analysis and CAPA.
· Ensure traceability and superiority throughout the supply chain.
· Drive the quality and food safety culture with all stakeholders.
· Support for contact with food safety authorities.
In order to be successful, you need to have:
· Min. 3 years of professional experience in Quality and Food Safety with a degree in relevant field (MSc/BSc Food science, Food Safety, Pharmaceutical etc.)
· Fluency in English and Finnish.
· Good expertise in quality management and compliance monitoring.
· Good competence in process development, continuous improvement, and problem solving.
· Digitally fluent, with good skills of Microsoft Office Tools.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams, clients and other stakeholders locally and globally.
· Detail-oriented mindset with ability to maintain high level of accuracy and thoroughness.
· Pragmatic, agile and solution-oriented mindset.
Favourable if you have:
· Experience in leading Quality and Food Safety in projects.
· Experience from Dairy process and manufacturing.
· Experience in certification process and audit management.
