As a Gen AI Lab Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our AI initiatives. Your primary mission will be to deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for selected use cases, scaling up learnings, and building in-house capabilities. You will support the delivery of ambitious projects aimed at transforming business processes using AI and generative AI. Additionally, you will drive cost reduction and increase the adoption of GenAI, all while defining and implementing sustainable AI/GenAI development and management processes in line with Responsible AI principles. Staying updated on new developments in the GenAI market will be crucial to your success.

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Lead the development and implementation of GenAI PoCs for operations.
·  Ensure consistent and state-of-the-art GenAI architecture across projects.
·  Deliver in-house built GenAI solutions and integrations.
·  Experiment with and discover new AI/GenAI technologies.
·  Work closely with IT, Data teams, and external partners to deliver and maintain solutions.
·  Animate the center of excellence and GenAI self-service concept.
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize use cases.
·  Mentor key users and application owners, building in-house GenAI capabilities.
·  Document learnings and best practices from PoCs to scale successful solutions.
·  Manage product and solution briefings, create demos, and partner with product management to prioritize impactful solutions.
·  Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of AI solutions.

We are seeking a candidate with a solid understanding of AI and GenAI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and relevant tools/frameworks. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing and delivering PoCs, with the ability to quickly prototype and iterate solutions. Strong project management skills are essential, as the role involves managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and ensuring timely delivery. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required to work closely with other departments and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. An innovative mindset, proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#), and experience with cloud computing platforms (preferably Azure) are also necessary. Familiarity with foundation models (e.g., OpenAI GPT, LLama, Mistral) and orchestration tools (LangChain, AutoGen), as well as experience in backend software development and AI solution development, will be advantageous. The candidate should be able to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT space. Fluency in English and a strong interest in cutting-edge technologies and user experience are essential.

·  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
·  Professional experience in IT&Data innovation (preferably AI/GenAI).
·  Significant experience in project management and delivery of PoCs.
·  Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
·  Demonstrated ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing.
·  Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
·  Proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks relevant to AI development.
