Test and Acceptance Engineer - Cloud

Who You'll Work With

You will be working with a highly empowered collaborative engineering team that is dedicated to the success of our clients, both internally and externally. By being responsible for End to End User Acceptance Testing you will ensure successful market launches and diminish post major software release technical trouble tickets by completing a thorough end to end user acceptance test process.

What You'll Do

We need a meticulous engineer whose attention to detail ensures that their testing and validation tasks are accurate.

The testing and validation tasks will ensure that the BroadCloud Products (including BroadWorks, Rialto, and Console) are rolled out in an organized matter to reduce the possibility of unexpected feature and/or services issues.

• Complete end to end user acceptance testing for new market rollouts and major software releases
• Create test plans and to support the release of strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate testing efforts with business teams to obtain release notes outlining added/new functionality to be tested and verified.
• Work with product management, developers, and testing staff to analyze requirements and user stories.
• Make recommendation to development teams that improve the user experience or escalate defects.
• Maintain Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Test Results.
• Supplement functional testing of features when available/necessary.
• Experience in the Reseller Business Processes.
• Experience in JIRA/other Atlassian tools.
• Supplement functional testing of features within the development cycle when available/necessary.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently, self-directed and solutions-oriented.
• Sound organizational and planning skills, with solid attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Quality Assurance Processes
• Business process understanding
• Automation testing experience preferred
• Manual testing experience is a must

Who You Are

We are looking for an Acceptance Engineer to join the team in Spring, TX. As an Acceptance Engineer, you will be using your testing expertise and experience understanding business needs to help us build and execute a solid acceptance test suite. You will be a member of the (Partner Integration Engineering) PIE team with a unique focus on evaluating customer data. You will be collaborating with multiple aspects of the business, starting with client facing teams, to understand how clients use the software, as well as development teams, to understand the features being built.
