Who You'll Work With
The acquisition of July Systems brings a brand new, SaaS cloud sales motion to the WW Enterprise Networking Sales Team in the form of Cisco DNA Spaces. This Cloud Location Platforms enables Cisco to drive business relevance, new incremental revenue and sustainable high growth in an evolving Enterprise Networking market.
As part of the broader Enterprise Networking sales team the goal is to have a broad impact on the Cisco sales organization to accelerate sales of the Intent-Based Networking platform while enabling customers and partners to be successful. The team influences innovation, technology and enablement to assist Cisco as it continues to evolve as a market leader, preserve top-line margins and offer unique customer solutions with differentiated advantages over the competition.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for technical sales to meet and exceed assigned quota. A successful Cisco Technical Sales Specialist will plan sales strategies, drive technical proof of value tests (POV), create solution designs, deliver customer presentations, and close the business. This position is responsible for accounts in all addressable segments / verticals and travel in the region is required.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to and execute the Cisco DNA Spaces sales plan with region team members
- Identify new Cisco DNA Spaces sales prospects, together with field and partner account teams
- Develop process for effective POVs with defined success metrics that facilitates the technical deal closure
- Work with the EN engineering team to cross pollinate best practice and create value propositions across the Cisco DNA stack
- Pursue and win major, strategic, high touch and complex opportunities
- Exploit Cisco DNA Spaces as a competitive differentiator to grow Cisco wireless market share
- Leverage and nurture Cisco Enterprise Networking partner base and eco-system
- Develop deep understanding of product capabilities and value proposition and be able to present and demo to customers and prospects in a highly effective manner - at LOB, IT management and executive level
- Partner with broader Enterprise Networking sales team and be able to leverage the full extent of Cisco resources to scale and overcome competitive pressures and tactics
- Facilitate case studies and success stories from select flagship wins and maintain high touch customer relationships in order to provide the ‘customer voice' to the BE for platform innovation
- Advocate and evangelize Cisco DNA Spaces through blogs, social networks and public speaking at industry events
Who You Are
Knowledge, Abilities & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3+ years technical sales experience selling networking solutions into enterprise, Public, SP and commercial accounts
- Proven field sales experience; understanding of complex sales cycles with a strong ability to accelerate sales
- Ability to develop and execute on account plans and data driven strategies
- Ability to translate business use cases to technical architectures and produce designs and bill of materials
- Project management skills to deliver successful POVs
- Strong ability to work in matrix organizations/teams and manage stakeholder relationships - to identify and establish partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship and ensure alignment for desired outcomes
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, colleagues and interface with a variety of organizations
- Interact as a value-added global team member
- Ability to think ‘big' and work unsupervised
- Time management, organizational, and negotiation skills
