What You'll Do

Systems Engineers (SE) at Cisco are technical leaders that advise and support Sales teams with pre-sales and deep technical knowledge. Cisco Romania Team is looking for a customer-focused technical sales professional who will provide high level technical information and design/implementation mentorship to our largest customers in Romania. This Systems Engineer will be given an opportunity to act as the lead Systems Engineer on these accounts helping to develop technical strategy across all of Cisco's portfolio of products. The ideal candidate should come with an excellent understanding of Cisco's portfolio, be consultative in his/her approach and be able to build positive relationships at multiple levels at the customer.

In this job you will:

• Translate customer needs into high level solutions design.
• Bring new networking technologies to the market.
• Liaise with the Business Units and Technical Marketing to understand our products, technologies and Services.
• Continuously help develop our solutions by providing feedback from the field.
• Conduct training and technical workshops for Customers, Partners and internal teams.
• Understand competitor offerings and provide recommendations to the sales team on product positioning and differentiation.
• Represent Cisco on community forums and customer facing events.
• Handle post-sales critical issue and resolve them by coordinating and working with all internal and external partners.

Who You'll Work With

Cisco Systems is looking for a pre-sales Systems Engineer to join our Technical Sales team in Bucharest / Romania to support our fast growing business! In this role you will work very closely with our account and partner sales teams to support them in explaining, structuring and helping to sell our key offerings as well as providing the best-in-class technology expertise to our customers.

Who You Are

You should possess and champion strong Business Unit relationships, and be able to navigate through Cisco's cross functional areas effectively. In addition to a technical capabilities and the ability to learn quickly as well as knowledge of current technology trends, your social, presentation and troubleshooting skills come as very important for this role! You should be familiar with how to successfully navigate a complex account and customer base.

You should bring:

• Good technical knowledge of Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration and Security architectures combined with deep technical expertise in one (or a few) of these architecture according to your specialization. Knowledge in Software Defined Networking would be an advantage.
• Deep understanding and being conversant about company, competitors, technologies, solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats is a key for this role
• Past work experience in a pre-sales role would be an advantage
• Cisco Portfolio knowledge and Certificates from Cisco or other IT vendors are very much welcome
• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines is must.
• Fluency in English and Romanian combined with an excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills
• Very good social skills combined with capability of building trust relationships internally and at our customers
• A high sense of ownership, coupled with a strong focus on achieving results
• Great teammate, willing to help others and prepared to ask for help when necessary
