What You'll Do:
Cisco is hiring a Supply Chain Acquisition Integration Manager to support our team in San Jose, CA!
This role is aligned to the corporate level strategy, venture investment, and M&A group within Cisco Systems. Our charter includes the associated assessment, strategy, planning, and execution required to integrate acquired entities into Cisco's Supply Chain. Our vision is to extract maximum value from Acquisitions with minimum disruption/negative impact to run the business.
As an Acquisition Integration Manager, you will be expected to program lead acquisition integration/deals, be accountable for running complex schedules, push for decisions/actions, build key events and achievements and track execution. Lead on integrating the acquired product technology into Cisco's portfolio, set up offers for customers and partners to purchase.
- You will apply knowledge of SW, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and other cloud-based business models and understand key business drivers to execute integration goals.
- You will perform Acquisition Integration activities using specialized knowledge and developed business expertise
- You will prepare and maintain the overall integration project plans for each acquisition using a hosted project management tool
- You will monitor progress against goals, identify problems that impact ability to achieve integration plan of record, or areas of inconsistency in the business, based on understanding of blueprint and plan on record.
- You will generate reports, analyze data, and build data sets based on business analytic indicators.
- You will develop and lead implementation of new business processes associated with major M&A initiatives; measures the adoption and business value of those initiatives.
- Pace the integration efforts to meet deadline and help resolve issues and advance within the work-stream and/or Integration PMO where needed.
- Lead major initiatives and related sub-projects.
- Communicate moderate to complex concepts; get along with deal leads and other partners to inform and direct action.
- Begin to act as a resource for less-experienced team members and colleagues.

You will work with deal leads, work-stream leads, functional managers and supply chain partners. Over the years, the team led and closed over 200 acquisitions including divestitures, enabling Cisco to enter multi-billion-dollar markets. This hardworking team of professionals comes from a diverse supply chain background and often sought out for our proven methods.
We provide direction as well as communicate, consult with and influence all levels of management both within Acquisition Integration team and in cross-functional organizations to gain support and partnership for proposed integrations. Who You Are:
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelors degree, plus 5 years of related experience (or a Masters degree, plus 2 years of related experience).
- Possess strong analytical skills to work on complex transactions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication and meeting/working session facilitation skills.
- Ability to make social connections, interpret customs and culture of both Cisco and the acquired company.
Desired skills:
- Experience in managing projects related to acquisition of SW, SaaS or other cloud-based business.
- Strong knowledge of software delivery models, business processes and capabilities to help orchestrate transfer of knowledge between Cisco and acquired companies, as well as in utilizing strategic partnerships and divestitures.
- Ability to analyze complex information from multiple sources and evaluates several alternative solutions before confirming path forward. Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, and other operational tools and processes that support conducting analyses.
- Deep understanding of critical project/ program management concepts such as tasks, dependencies, risks, issues, status reporting.
- You should be able to use advanced PM tools and techniques to build & manage a large execution plan.
- Knowledge of Cisco's business functions and practices to drive process improvement for more effective operations.
