Who You'll Work With

Cisco's Customer Journey Business Unit (CJBU) is changing the way customer care is delivered. The customer care space is in the early stages of a massive transition to Cloud solutions. Our customers are looking for offers that match cloud consumption models to enable their migration from on-premise solutions to the cloud.

What You'll Do

Working closely with both product management and the broader CTG offers teams, you will propose, execute and communicate new offers.

  • You will be aware of what is happening in the evolving customer care market and propose offers that fit current and future customer demands.
  • You will define go-to-market strategies that meets regional, end-user segment, partner segment, and vertical requirements
  • You will partner with the offers teams to create well-studied and researched offer requirements for a market moving to the cloud.
  • You will understand and incorporate CJBU components as well as incorporating third-party solution components from our Solutions Plus portfolio in an offer structure to deliver customers and partners full solutions.
  • You will model offers the Customer Journey Solutions portfolio to cement us as the market leader.
  • You will engage cross-functionally to develop the value proposition, pricing, SKU structure, ordering processes, channel programs, and legal documents to bring these offers to market.
  • You will manage the lifecycle of both subscription and perpetual commercial offers.
  • You will develop offer positioning content, business cases, and service definition deliverables associated with a prioritized offer concept.
  • You will communicate new offers and overall offer strategy to Cisco Sales as well as to Cisco partners.
  • You will be the go-to resource for the BU and field on CJBU products.

Required Experience

  • Seven or more years of experience in subscription software as a product manager, IT or business analyst, product sales specialist, business development manager, or equivalent, preferably combined with an MBA
  • Familiarity with Cisco's collaboration software subscription portfolio
  • Ability to understand and collaborate on business cases and financial analyses including forecasts and various booking-revenue metrics
  • Analytical ability to participate in assessing competitive dynamics in the enterprise collaboration software market
  • Experience with 3rd party vendor negotiations and familiarity with royalties
  • Ability to think outside the box and offer solutions to a new and expanding annuity business
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communications as well as influencing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a very dynamic, loosely structured, entrepreneurial environment
