Who You'll Work With

We are looking for software engineering and technology experts to join the Cisco DNA Cloud Offer team. This includes building highly reliable and scalable Network Management services running on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and involves innovative full stack technical solutions.

What You'll Do

• Build high performant, highly scalable, complex systems esp. front end (UI portal).
• Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and software engineers.
• Develop simple solutions to address complex problems.
• Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performant code base.
• Bring technical solutions to the leadership team, feedback on solutions recommended, new product ideas with the team through design review, pair programming, code review and tech talk.
• Ability to share technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design review, code review, proof-of-concepts and show and tell
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products

Who You Are

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a “take-charge” / “can-do” attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency. You be self-sufficient and be able to work with minimal supervision. Work with geographically distributed teams across different time zones.

Key Skills:

• GUI development
• Must have Hands on experience developing UI Framework like React.js, Angular – redux and node.js
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript and at least one UI framework.
• Must have Hands on experience developing UI Framework like React.js, Angular – redux and node.js
• Hands on experience in Advanced Javascript like – Promise, Closure, ES6 features.
• Must have: Knowledge of java script unit testing and debugging tools for Java.
• Highly Desired: Authentication, Authorization mechanism using JWT
• Highly Desired: Design First methodology, User experience driven design
• Highly Desired: Experience building user facing features with translation of wireframe, design
• Highly Desired: Benchmarking and UI optimization
• Broad Information Technology experience, including understanding of tools, processes and best practices of project execution
• Experience working with and applying Design patterns to solve problems.
• Experience with tools like Maven, ANT, CVS, SVN, Git
• Excellent debugging and testing skills
• Ability to perform performance and scalability analysis as needed.
• Excellent in problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of java system architecture.
