What You'll Do

Cisco WebEx is a fast-growing product within Cisco's Collaboration software group. The team will operate in an agile development model to rapidly bring a new product offering to market, reacting very quickly to initial customer feedback and market needs. The team used RESTFUL API and XML API technology to meet the customer requirements.

Who You'll WorkWith

Cisco is looking to hire a Software Engineer to contribute to the team and team culture, the product, and the process to bring it to market. He/she must have experience in building new software offerings with agility and urgency.

Who You Are

You have a strong background in software design and implementation. You are passionate for quality and attention to detail. You believe in building high performance applications, continuous improvement, code refactoring, and keeping up with advances in technology as a key enabler in driving a sustainable innovation culture.

You have a strong understanding of all current technologies and good understanding of emerging technologies with knowledge of business impact on technology.

• BS/MS in computer science/computer engineering or related fields
• 1-3 years hands on experience with Java development and testing. Familiar with build and development tools such as Eclipse, Intellij, Junit, and Ant
• Experience in Java/J2EE, multithreading programming, Tomcat, Oracle
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written. Must be highly motivated and self starter.
• Development experience with RESTFUL API, XML is big plus
• Understanding in Object Oriented Design concept and design patterns is plus
• Experience with SaaS application development and cloud computing is plus
• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and c/c++ experience
