What You'll Do

The SPNAA Applications team within Cisco facilitates business transitions by delivering innovative, outcome-driven management solution through network automation and analytics for Service Providers. Cisco Evolved Programmable Network Manager and Crosswork Suite product portfolio are comprehensive element, network and service management products for managing very large scale networks. They provide simplified, converged, end-to-end lifecycle management for carrier-grade networks of all sizes.

Who You'll Work with

This individual is expected tocontribute to the development and testing activities by closely collaborating with his teammates, providing technical guidance and actively contributing to troubleshooting as needed. Moreover he is expected to collaborate to estimation and planning activities, supporting the management directions.

Who You are :

The candidate must have a strong technical background, mainly onsoftware/devices testside and preferably from a product company building out large scale engineering projects and working with high performance agile development team(s). Both software engineering skillset and optical domain technologies knowledge are key for this position.

Hemust have a proven track record of designing and developing high quality software products and should possess the following skills and experience:

• Master degree in software/telecom engineering
• 10+ years of telecom industry experience with proven software design skills
• 6+ years of excellent hands-on Network Management domain, Java and Webservice
• 3+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience with Optical technologies, including Cisco NCS40xx, NCS20xx, NCS10xx devices/networks configuration
• 3+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience with Ethernet/IP/CE technologies
• Hands-on expertise ofAutomation scripting/frameworks

Some of the following software skills are necessary to perform well in the project:

• Deep Working Knowledge of SONET/SDH, OTN, DWDM, MPLS, IP
• Working Knowledge of SNMP, TL1, syslog, IOS/IOS-
  XR CLI, HTTP, REST, JSON , XML, NETCONF/YANG etc
• Knowledge of Git/Gerrit/SVN/MAVEN
• Knowledge of RUBY, PHYTON
• Knowledge of SQL/Database
• Experience with automation/testing tools like Junit, TestNG, Selenium
• Experience of developing in UNIX/Linux Operating System environments(shell scripting)
• Agile development and testing experience
