What You'll Do
We are developing our team and currently looking for experienced Software Engineers to work in an international environment in downtown Prague, Czech Republic as a part of the Advanced Threat Defense team spanning across Prague, CZ, Silicon Valley (San Jose), CA, Calgary, Canada, and London, UK.We expect you to:
- Design and implementreactive,cloud native applicationsfor detectingmodern malware, advanced cyber threatsandmalicious user behavior
Build and support infrastructureenabling large-scale data processing and Machine Learning computations
Cooperate withmalware researchers and data scientistsonaddressing unprecedentedchallengesin cyber security and artificial intelligence problem domains
Be responsible for the whole productlifecycle up to the production deployment

The Cognitive Intelligence Research and Development (R&D) team within Cisco develops innovative capabilities in the cyber security domain that provide exceptional visibility into the misuse of the customer computing infrastructure. This enables our customers to protect their critical assets against today's and future's cyber threats.

Our requirements for this role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Master's degree is a strong plus)
Experience in one or more of the following: Python,Java,Scala, Go, AWS, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins
Goodunderstandingof Serverless computing and container orchestration technology
Ability to maintain a healthy DevOps culture and follow its core principles
Teamwork spirit,can-doattitudeandanoutcome-orientedmindset
Fluent spoken and written English
An important plus will be:
Experience in building and maintaining Machine Learning pipelines
Knowledge and understanding of Big Data technologies and distributed computing(Spark,Kafka, Dask)
Hands on experiencewithPython Scientific computing tools(numpy, pandas,scikit-learn)
R&D experience in several of the following areas: Machine Learning and Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Pattern Recognition, Cloud Computing, Game Theory, Graph Theory
