The Cisco AMP engineering team is composed of highly skilled individuals who are comfortable working in a fast paced and technically challenging environment. Members are involved with all stages of the product development process from solving complex engineering problems to working directly with customers.

What You'll Do

Based in Calgary, the new team member will join a software development team dedicated to delivering the best enterprise endpoint security solution for Linux and macOS. Passionate about software quality and an advocate for modern development best practices, this individual embraces a multidimensional developer role beyond programming: contributing in areas including continuous integration, test automation and release management.

Our Minimum Qualifications for the Role

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Recent graduate with some experience in developing multi-threaded software using C and/or C++
  • Knowledgeable in UNIX style operating systems, POSIX API and scripting
  • Knowledgeable in the use and management of continuous integration tools (e.g., Go.CD, Jenkins, Travis CI)
  • Ability to lead collaboration efforts involving multiple teams

Desirable Attributes

  • Proven experience and/or strong interest in network security
  • Background in secure coding best practices
  • Experience developing in mixed OS environments including macOS, Linux and Windows
