What You'll Do
You will drive business development for GES West with a focus on interlock between CX delivery and the field to drive a lifecycle approach for our Customers as Cisco increases its software business.Your business development organization will position the Services portfolio to drive transformation within the GES West Customer base across all architectures.You will identify and position new and innovative service offerings and solutions based on observed marketplace demands, trends and CX evolution.You will work with Service Line Management and Customer Experience Product Management teams supporting the services lifecycle requirements, ensuring consistent and accurate scoping of Customer engagements. You will also be responsible for the assessment of ongoing performance and recommend adjustments to resource, structure, and processes as appropriate.You will track and manage continuous pipeline visibility of services and solutions for opportunities and collaborate amongst team members to establish best practices for developing and supporting the sale of CX services and solutions.

You and your organization will:

1.Produce the right offer with the right value proposition

2.Work with Sales to set strategy and achieve goals

3.Work with Delivery to position and drive subscription and transactional revenue

4.Structure complex deals, reducing complexity

5.Maximum the value and optimize Delivery to assist in the sales process

Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the Customer Experience team focused on driving successful insertion and adoption of Cisco services across Cisco sales activities.You will support interaction with senior management across direct field sales, service sales, specialist teams and service delivery within the GESW area.

Our BDM team members have deep knowledge of Cisco's Service portfolio spanning Enterprise Network, Datacenter, Security and Collaboration. Team members are expected to leverage this knowledge to develop solutions and shape services opportunities based on Customer / Sales requirements across all vertical market environments.

You achieve success through strong cross-functional relationships, engaging talent to jointly design and deliver what an individual team could not.You measure success in the impact of your programs and breadth of cross-functional contribution.You are an independent self-starter, who is proactive with a program management mind set to resolve conflicts. You have excellent verbal and written skills in communicating and positioning Cisco's Services business and capabilities with the field and with Customers.You have a proven track record of success.You are a problem solver with experience in risk and issue management, escalation and resolution. You provide constructive coaching and feedback to all levels within the team as necessary.

Our minimum qualifications are:

·10+ years of relevant Service experience

·Experience as a people manager and/or manager of managers

·Clear success in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence

·Strong understanding of industry trends

·BA/BS required, MBA preferred

·Knowledge of Cisco Professional Services business

·Demonstrated track record of pursuing and managing x-arch services engagements of $1M+

·Ability to travel (target of 25%)
