Security Research Analyst - Umbrella - India Security Research

As a Security Research Analyst...

Responsibilities will include the following:
Reviewing customer requests (filtered through customer support). These will include tasks such as:
Analysing domains for phishing, trojans or malicious urls.
Determination if a domain, url or related IOC's are valid in a blocklist.

Additional responsibilities include:
Utilizing scripting skills (python preferably) to build, modify and work with tools and frame-works that collect intel about threats and aid in solving complex security problems.
Basic static Malware analysis
Hunting for threats and finding connections to provide context for our team and to improve detection.
Writing and producing customer-facing content to contribute to the thought leadership portion of our work.

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you…

Have a Bachelors degree with a work experience of 1-3 years or 1 year of Cyber security related work experience
Have a strong analytic curiosity and creativity.
Operate independently, thoroughly and quickly in the execution of assignments.
Have strong critical thinking skills.
Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge on DNS and basic threat analysis
Are open to and always learning.
