Product Manager for AI and ML

What You'll Do

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are at the heart of our Intent Based Networking strategy and as a Product Manager for AI/ML initiatives within the Enterprise Networking business, you will be responsible for driving Cisco and the industry into this next phase -- building intelligence into the network at every level, across all devices, across all domains. You will need to think creatively to not only advance our existing AI and ML capabilities, but also identify new uses cases, new applications, and new ways to leverage AI and ML for the benefit of our customers. Initial responsibilities include:

• Lead product management for Cisco's Machine Reasoning Engine (MRE), a fully automated inference engine that proactively helps users detect issues and vulnerabilities, perform complex root cause analysis, and either manually or automatically perform corrective actions.
• Build a cross-domain intelligence strategy that integrates MRE across the Cisco portfolio and identifies critical use cases across Cisco's switching, routing, wireless, and security business units.
• Understand and evangelize the full suite of Cisco's AI/ML capabilities, with initial focus on the Machine Reasoning Engine. This will include educating the field, customers, and internal stakeholders on the key use cases and benefits of MRE.

Who You'll Work With

You'll be part of a cross-domain product management team that will interface with highly innovative teams across engineering, marketing, user experience, customer experience, sales, sales engineering, and of course our partners and customers. In addition, you'll have the ability to work in concert with the Cisco Cortex brain-trust that includes some of the brightest AI and ML minds in the industry. Lastly, you'll have the opportunity to work with the engineering and product management teams leading some of the most innovative hardware solutions across our full, cross-domain portfolio of routers, switches, and wireless controllers.

Desired Qualifications

• 3+ years of in-depth product management experience with specialized expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Relevant industry experience in Enterprise software or in the management software domain
• Understanding of agile software development standard methodologies, design thinking, and working with user experience teams
• Passionate about delivering an outstanding user experience by solving problems efficiently and focusing on simplicity
• Collaborative product manager who can thrive in a global, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder, large enterprise environment
• Effective influencer who can listen, learn, and adapt across all levels of an organization
• Effective communicator who can engage with industry influencers and present at industry events
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• MBA a plus
