Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

In your role as a Global Virtual Sales (GVS) Systems Engineer, you will partner with our Virtual Sales Account Managers in a pre-sales consultant role. You will design solutions by having direct (through Cisco) and indirect (through Cisco partners) responsibilities for selected accounts. You will also learn from your international peers by participating in internal technical gatherings and be able to share your expertise with others in return.

As a member of the Systems Engineering team within the Global Virtual Sales and Engineering organization, you will be part of one of Cisco's fastest growing sales teams and talent engines. Our minimum requirements for this role:
· Science, Technology, Economics or Mathematics related major
· Industry related experience in a pre-sales role
· Good generalist knowledge across Cisco's solutions set (Collaboration, Data Centre & Virtualization, Security, and Enterprise Networking)
· Broad knowledge of relevant industry technology and technology trends.
· Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings
· Fluency in written and verbal communication inboth German and English, as well as strong listening, and presentation skills.
· CCNA, CCNP certifications and industry certifications are a plus
· Experience in multiple software languages, as well as application architecture and development is a definite plus.
· Innate curiosity and eagerness to learn; at ease with embracing complexity and a natural team player
