What You'll Do
As an Integrated Business Planning Manager (IBP Planner) within the Global Planning & Fulfillment group, you will be responsible for the Demand Plan for the Security Business Group (SBG).
This includes handling the bookings and unit signal alignment across Global Manufacturing Operations, Product Operations and other Supply Chain functions to deliver revenue attainment, customer experience, market share, financial (including inventory driven costs), and other fulfillment supply chain business outcomes.
You will execute the monthly and quarterly Planning Process with Product Management, Business Unit Finance, and Supply Chain Operations members from your business segment.Your responsibilities in this process will be to:
-Work with finance and marketing to create a most likely unit demand signal aligned to the overall market and financial plan including assumptions related to product margin.
-Proactively identify risks to the Demand Plan and the achievable forecast accuracy
-Mitigate risks by implementing a buffer strategy to enable revenue plan and customer delivery attainment while balancing inventory costs
-Utilize “what if” and scenario planning in decision-making:
oInventory-Delivery-Margin tradeoffs
oTransition scenario planning
oDemand sensing & demand shaping using impactful levers/ mechanisms
-Utilize best-in-class analytics and predictive modeling
-Monitor actuals vs plan and work with Supply Chain Operations to react to deviations

Who You'll Work With
Partner with other IBP Planner/s. The IBP role requires significant collaboration with many cross-functions within Supply Chain Operations including Global Manufacturing Organization (GMO) and Product Ops as well as Product Marketing and Finance.
Who You Are
At least 2-5 years of Supply chain experience (Cisco or Industry) in demand planning processes, inventory management, product life-cycle management, supply chain financials, and / or supply chain modeling experience.
Strong analytical skills to assess, frame and drive data informed decisions. Build models to analyze “what-if” scenarios for dedicated planning purposes. Recognizes underlying themes and patterns and reduces complex data to a few key conclusions that can easily be understood by others.
Awareness of drivers for the Supply Chain Balanced Scorecard and the Operating Plan framework and how supply chain decisions contribute to business performance. Understands and applies general business concepts and principles including profit and loss statements, cost-benefit analysis, and return on investment calculations to drive decisions based on data. Able to craft and use financial trend analyses and compares (quarter over quarter, year or year) to explain ongoing performance in the context of the macro business situation, and use this insight to achieve future desired outcomes
Wide understanding of Cisco's customers, markets and products knowledge & experience. Understands Cisco's business models and macro business environment. Able to align internal processes with BU objectives. Can effectively represent that understanding in significant ways to others.
Capable of leading conversations to influence and drive better decisions with multiple partners, often at the Manager and Director levels.
Expertly presents own position despite resistance or unfavorable reactions from others. Handles problems or conflicts with others openly and directly. Has the conviction to take risks, make decisions and call out when needed to achieve desired business outcomes.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams to achieve results by identifying and aligning to shared goals, priorities and dedications. Able to hold peers, partners and self accountable to dedications.
